tvM8 doesn't collect any data.
TV control
tvM8 finds and controls TVs on your local network. Commands go directly from your iPhone to your TV. They never pass through our servers.
Stored on your iPhone
TV names, network addresses and pairing keys stay on your device. Pairing keys are kept in the iOS Keychain. None of this is sent to us.
Local Network
iOS asks for permission to access your local network. tvM8 uses it only to find and control TVs on your Wi-Fi.
Purchases
Apple handles purchases and restores. We don't receive your payment details or Apple Account.
Siri
Siri requests are processed by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. tvM8 carries out the action on your TV locally.
No accounts or tracking
There are no accounts, analytics, advertising or tracking in the app.
This website
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Our host, Cloudflare, processes basic request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date.
